Gavin chose to have a Reece's Rainbow birthday party. Instead of receiving gifts for himself, he encouraged his friends to give a donation for a special orphan in need of a family. Only a few friends were able to attend, but they donated $30. Gavin had fun choosing a child to sponsor.
He chose handsome and happy Aleksey in Eastern Europe. You can see his sparkly blue eyes at Reece's Rainbow. He was born with spina bifida, but he has so much potential.! In a loving family with therapy and support he could have a great life. If he does not find a family by the time he is 4 or 5, he will be sent to a mental institution where he will get no love, attention or stimulation, and no schooling! Please consider saving Aleksey from that kind of life!
